YOUR PROJECT AND LEADERSHIP ROLE
Reflection 1
This week I was chosen to be the Marketing manager, I think that is a very good role for me as I am the most confident in the group when it comes to talking to others. Although I am happy about my role I am nervous because I am in charge of many things, for example:
Designing and creating posters, designing and creating invitations, designing and creating flyers, online advertisement e.g. Video. My plans is to create a variety of options so that my I can get my teams input and help choosing what design is best.
It is exciting to be holding our own exhibition. I am really happy to get started and have already thought of ideas for marketing , such as the name , colour etc for the exhibition.
Reflection 2
We have one week until the exhibition and it is all coming together very well. It has definitely been challenging but I feel that we have done very well as a team. Before we open the exhibition to our private guests we will be doing a Facebook live event to showcase our exhibition to others. Our plan is that each of us can bring five people each. Each family will get a twenty minute times slot to look around and ask questions about the pottery. There will also be free drinks available for those who want them.
I am nervous and excited . I am really looking forward to doing the Facebook live to see how much interest we get. The team and I are speaking a lot outside of class . My responsibilities feel even more important now as the day gets closer .We all really want to get it right.
Reflection 3
Today is the day of the exhibition, I am a bit nervous but I am so proud of how far we have come through this journey. We are all setting up the exhibition room for later and it is starting to look great. We have laid multi-coloured lights down around the outskirt of the room and we are using large lamps that almost feel as if they are to do with astronomy. Charlotte plans to play relaxing music from a large speaker to help create a peaceful atmosphere. I am so excited for the exhibition later on. We have just done the live event and are minutes away from our first time slot. I think it went really well and helped us get ready for the face to face exhibition. We are all very excited and now that we have finished the live event it feels as if a weight has lifted and we are now relaxed and can finally enjoy the experience. What I really loved is how we worked together. We all actively tried to listen and make sure we remained a team at all times.
I worked with Rose a lot which was nice. It was nice to support one another. I have a great deal of respect for Rose, Charlotte and Penny. I felt I have certainly grown in confidence and trusted them more as the process went on.
